All plants are freshly dug and labeled. We wash the roots and cut back the foliage, the roots are dried slightly then wrapped to assure the Daylilies arrive moist and ready to plant.
We begin to dig and ship May 25th and continue through September.
Our peak blooming season is July 15th to August 15th.
Daylilies are priced by supply and demand, usually the newer Daylilies are more expensive.
Our Daylilies have wintered over in our Maine gardens to assure plant hardiness in Zone 4.
We generally choose the dormant foliage.
OurMissionis to keep one step behind the modern day hybridizer, offering up-to-date cultivars at affordable prices while we continue to provide older varieties for the classic gardener.
Our commitment is to sell healthy plants to the satisfaction of our customers.
To help us complete this mission, we are members of the American Hemerocallis Society, the Maine Daylily Society and the Southern Maine Daylily & Hosta Society. We are also licensed and state inspectedto assure no rust in our Maine gardens.
